I fitted Brembo MAX (grooved) front discs on my Cavalier III / Vectra A. And they do works better than standard.
:'( But Brembo dos'nt make MAX discs for Omega, only OE discs.

Well, now i't time, and I'm also looking for new discs (and pads) for my Omega. So I hope it's ok to add an extra question to this thread.

Surfing the internet I found a few different discs.

ATE (OE)
Brembo (OE)
Diamond (grooved / drilled / both)
EBC (grooved / drilled / both)

And some special offers on e-bay like
Y.C.P-BRAKING (grooved / drilled / both)
MTEC (grooved / drilled / both)
MINTBITZ (grooved / drilled / both)

But who has tried what, and what do you think the quality has been?

PS. I hope my English is understandable. I think it might be better than your Danish  ;)

local main dealer - so not surprised it's wrong then.

any ideaof the price difference between OE spec and OE trade club soec ?

I know Chrisgixer fitted the OE spec pads after being disappointed with the TC pads. They were 70 quid odd for the front axle set of pads alone IIRC. :o

Better, apparently, but at a price.

Kevin
i find oe better, stamp on the pedal and there's not much differance, but they fill in the terribly sorry old boy, I am a little tireding gap in feel given by the trade club pads which feel like lumps of wood in comparison, i believe VXL V6 found the same.

They still fade when pushed, i might fit some goodridge braded hoses to replace the rubber flexipipe.

Are oe worth £70 a ront axle set though? bit steep tbh, but i wont go back to trade club pads personally, dont rate the performance, but then they are suitably priced.

Yep, the pedal 'feel' is definately better with the OE pads, but before I get shot down in flames, I do know that 'feel' isn't the same as efficency and performance.
