They're a bit posh, those cockney types.

29p at Lidl. Much to Mrs. KW's disgust. What's not to like? It's soap in a bottle.

Well, at last I've got round to changing the ATF in my long lived AR25.

TB, no tears! no thrust washer bits in the sump.

A couple of issues arose, the sump fill plug would not release, and even after removing the sump, it required Stilsons to remove, Unfortunately this destroyed the hex flats, and the sump plug on my spare AR35 was as bad, so I reduced the original to 12mm for replacement, but it could do with an HTS plug, if this is common.

To remove the old gasket from the sump mountings lying under the car took about two hours to do a decent job.

I found a ring magnet mounted on a pimple in the main sump, don't recall that being mentioned before.

I would allow a full day for this job unless you have access to a ramp.

Thanks for all the help. :y

PS Yes, it was a dirty job.
