These are a great improvement, thanks. Only problem is that the new bulbs make my parking bulbs look yellow.

Can anyone help with the Philips x-treme number for parking bulbs?

Not sure about the legalities (well, I am actually, but hey-ho)...... I use LED's in my parking lights.  They are brilliant white and last forever.  Dont buy the cheap CHEAP ones, but dont go over the top.  A quick search of the Bay will provide you with thousands of products.

It's a 501 5W5 bulb.

I used 6 LED w5w bulbs off ebay; but they vary HUGELY in quality, some are white, some have blue or purple tinge, some last two weeks, others last indefinitely.

Choose a good pair of bright white 6 LED sidelight bulbs
