I saw him (well his legs anyway
) on the Saturday at Newent when fighting with the non-lowering jack. Mine will need doing (if I don't break it) so will be following the guide and them PMing Chris when I mess it up
...yeeeeahs about the guide, it needs an update, it's too over complicated, written on the current thinking at the time it's now out of date IMO.basically the whole bit about dropping the subframe arm to fit the top rubber washer is wrong, well not wrong, unnecessary. It causes hours of aggro which is easily avoided by wiggling the bush centre spacer ,once fitted, with the 19mill bolt to centre it in the top rubber washer.
Basicly, Jack car on stand, Jack subframe arm very firmly, remove bolts plate and bush(with a baring puller on the centre bolt) then fit the new bush directly, do not lower the subframe arm or alignment with the chassis bolt holes will be lost, instead wiggle the bush centre spacer to centre it in the top rubber washer, then bolt it back up again, job done.
Sorry I missed you at Newent Lee, would have been nice to meet you...that rather Jack was lethal. My Jack soooo much better than Daz's, drops niiiice and sloooow.
