Hi guys.
Got a couple of questions for you which I would be very grateful if you could help me with.
I need to replace the cam cover gasket on my 2.2 CD Facelift.....and thanks to the excellent guide on this forum, i know how to do it..

However just as I was about to start the job I noticed something that is concerning me.
On the right hand side of the cam cover about 1 inch down on the block, there are two empty thredded holes.
One is on the top right hand corner directly underneath the large breather tube, and the other one is halfway down the block.
Are these meant to have bolts in them, they look like they do because they are thredded on the inside.
I have'nt had my car long and it's the first Omega that I've ever had so I apologise if it's a stupid question

Second qestion....you know the dispack plug at the back of the black ecotech strip....well how do you remove it?
I've read on a guide in the maitenance section that says to " lift the arrowed release catch ".
However on my plug there is no arrow......the very centre of the plug there is a small rectangular section with a small circular pattern on it that I assume is the release catch in question.
Do you put your thumb on this and push backwards towards the back of the engine, or do you lift it upwards.
I just want do make sure that I don't snap the bloody thing thats all.
Many thanks for your time...I'm grateful for any help
