Bought an Astra today for Master Vamps

We did very well, searched Autotrader last night and did a list to look at, I went out to check them out as he was at work, never got past the first garage, believed from the add to be the best, and what a cracker of a  car it is, bang on the money, in great condition and will take his Saxo as px.  I rang him from the garage, he wanted me to buy it for him but I insisted on him viewing so get him out of work early and went to view it..... :y
Very friendly garage, they let us take the car for a test drive on our own.... and then offered me a further test drive to be sure we were happy.... :y

O5 plate 1.6 Life in black, needs a couple of jobs so he will collect it next Saturday, just the Insurance to sort now and a repayment plan.... :D :D :D

i had a 2000 w reg astra ls. nice clean car.

also drove the latest shape too. loved everything about it apart from stupid indicators where you pushed up to indicate right but to cancel you push up with less pressure. so stoopid!!!  >:(

lol webby i had them on a vectra..you push up too far you end up signalling the wrong way then you confuse everyone including yourself :y

They're good when you get used to them, I had one as a hire car from work for a few days, but they did take a bit of getting used to to start with.  :y :y

haahaha i know. unbelievable. its like theyre trying to come up with something unique... but ends up being shit! lol

andy b, youre right im sure you could get used to them.... but i too had them on a hire car. not really what you want when you only got the car for a day  ::) ;D

Lol, Astra H only (and you do get used to them pretty quickly plus it is NOT the latest astra).

Astra J does not have that style of indicators

Master Vamps did mention that on his test drive, decided he could live with them though..... :D :D
He is now complaining that he has to wait till Saturday before he can get the car....bless.... ::) ::) ::)

You get used to them and once you do they're actually not that bad... The "lane change" function is very good :y
