I truely dispise french cars!!  The only good one (and I use term loosely) was the 205 GTi!
My first sporty car! :y Great fun to drive. Had it tuned to 150bhp ( It was the 1.9). I sold it years ago, then saw it two years ago, it hadn't been totally 'chavved up' and sounded like a bag of hammers :'( :'( I suppose lasting this long was an achievement, it was 'F' registered.

Well, we' ve tried the keycard and it works (till next time). Keyless go? Yes, no key - no go. Please DO buy a CAR next time. With keys. More keys - more go

Lets be accurate here, they're not 'keyless', it's just an electronic key rather than a mechanical one. And as NO manufacturer, including Mercedes or Saab,  has come up with a reliable electronic key yet, what chance did Renault have? That's Renault who have been renowned for their high quality electrical and electronic systems since, er, well I'll let you know when it happens!

Had a 106 for a year. Not a bad car once I'd replaced the suspension, clutch, exhaust..... ::)

Managed to survive 40k in the year I owned it. Was actually quite fun to drive... Still miss it a bit... :-[

Back in a sec...

I think you must all be exceedingly hard drivers, I had a Renault 16TL for 13 years, 150,000 miles, never let me down once, service items only, and before the Omega, the most comfortable car I ever drove. :y :y :y 8)

Possibly one of the best cars I have had was a Citroen C4 Grand Picasso 7 seater thing, diesel, great mpg, but yes a family mans car, had it three and a half years and needed a bulb, would have another tomorrow but have bought a Jeep..... :y :y

My first car was R18TLJ  from 1983, share better memories with it than with first girl (total psycho) but was constantly at the workshop - wheel bearings, drive shafts, brakes.......I kind a liked the engine, 1.4 , 65 hp, using liter of oil on 2000 miles but sweet runner. Never a problem with the engine and had 425.000 km when going to car heaven, still running good. That's only good point or it, had a few of renaults after it but was too disappointed

I really dont like Lagunas, but I very much doubt that Renault make the pass.  Lets face it, the GM remotes are every bit as shite.
