Just wondering, as i travel at low peak times, but when did you last see a taffic copper?
I havent seen one for ages. Although having said that i now fully expect go meet one soon... ;D

Off the motorway very rare, I work in a town and often have to drive around during the day, my pet hates that I see regularly are phone users and kids on the back seat not strapped in, and never a Police car around when you want one... ::) ::) ::)

my pet hates are just BMW drivers (no offence del boy lol)

for some reason they seem to get a red mist come over them when theyre in their bimmers  >:(
[/highlight]

No argument from me :y  difficult to explain to Miss Vamps why I do not want a BMW..... :-X :-X

if i had a bit of dosh i'd purchase myself a merc. not everyones cup of tea but id love an s class.

I tend to agree, but I just do not see myself as a Merc driver, a bit ostentatious for me, particularly as I use a car for work... :-\  The Mig was great for image, as it says little being old, the Jeep, not sure what statement that says, different but not OTT so that suits me... :y

i'd have never known you had a jeep if you didn't just mention it!  ;D ;D ;D ;D

im really not sure what the image of an omega driver is tbh.

i think jeeps are really cool actually. it says to me youre a guy from the sticks who doesn't have to own a sheep to know what not to put in one  ;D ;D ;D ;D

no seriously, jeeps conjur up images (for me) of american guys in check flannel shirts with rifle cases and drinking budweiser by the camp fire. but i think thats cool  :y

That was me 20 years ago, but then I had a Land Rover..... :y :y

I think it says, "I wish I lived in Chelsea, and I can't afford a Range Rover" ;) ;D

I don't and I can..... :P :P :P

Lies! I am never wrong..  :P ;D

Oh and Webby, I think the Omega says "I like to think I could be in the Police, but they wouldn't let me" ;D

makes a mockery of the whole thing doesnt it..." Do as you like, just dont speed" message is utter 'dangle berries'. Concentrate! Driving, while driving, being 3rd or 4th on the list of things to do.

That is pretty much the message from the popular media, the way things are enforced and, of course, that bastion of sanity "BRAKE".

Whenever I've flicked past it's been repeats (and thus, still features Omegas).. not sure if they're still filming new episodes, though. According to TheTVDB the last series was 2009/2010: http://thetvdb.com/?tab=series&id=133941

I think they're still waiting to Alistair Stewart to get a clean license so he can be patronising again.

Yep, and we can all say that with impunity, having never, AFAIK, got plastered and then decided to nip out for a chinese, wrapping our cars round a telegraph pole on the way. Twice. ;D
