Thanks mate - by the way how does the Merc Estate compare sizewise to the Omega Estate?

I suppose it would seem a backward step to most people but I was offered twice what I paid for the omega so that had to go and the merc belonged to a mate who was going to scrap it,It was in way too good a condition to let that happen so I bought it for peanuts and am delighted with it.Its very quiet and comfortable,goes like hell for the little 2.2 engine its got and its 5 mpg better than the omega was on fuel knocking around here locally and it just feels like it will run forever !,size wise there's not much in it,maybe a little narrower but about the same length :y

Not from where i'm sat mate  :y It seems to me you've got the best of all possible outcomes there, the most important being...you're happy! :y

Thanx for that - we need the space for cages for the 9 dogs my partner races.

Thanx for that - we need the space for cages for the 9 dogs my partner races.

I would say that the load bay is slightly bigger than the omega's but its difficult to tell without them side by side,lets be honest though,they're both huge :y
