hi looking at buying a 2.2 omega could anybody tell me what fuel consumpion i would be looking at, mainly expressway driving. cheers

Thanks for the replys guys, i am only getting an omega because i love the autos so would probably get a bit less mpg than a manual.

hi all i am thinking of buying an omega 2.2 prob around a 52 plate, just after some advice on the mpg, what would i expect i do 15 miles a day stop start and a bit of expressway quite heavy footed. And also is there anything i should look out for when buying, is there any common faults etc etc cheers. Would it be worth buying the 2.5 or 2.6 just looking at the 2.2 because i would think it is better economy.

hi all i am thinking about buying a 2.2 auto omega i was just wondering what sort of MPG they return i only do 12 miles per day to work and back round trip and like to get my foot down every now and then.
Any info appreciated to give me a rough idea as if its only a couple of mpg different on the 2.5v6 i may as well look at one of those cheers.

looking at buying a 52 plate 2.2 omega with 65,000 on the clock the only gripe i have is that it has had 9 owners it makes me wonder why people keep getting rid of it ..... should i forget about it or take a chance cheers.

hi looking at buying a 2.5 v6 just wondering if there is a difference in the engine at all when they changed to the new shape as i had a V reg old shape a couple of years ago and i was never away from the petrol station i also fancy a 2.2 but there is less power in them cheers.

thats true amego i used to have a 2.5 v6 and that went really well compared to the 2.2

hi i am looking to buy am omega i took a 2.2 out the other day and it was guttless i floored it and didnt seem to go anywhere is this normal or should i buy a 2.5 v6 and suffer the fuel bills cheers
