had quick look at car yesterday a started it up running very rough and knocking at top of engine also appearsto be blowing back through airbox cambellt appears good and so does aux belt could the belt jump a tooth or two.... would engine still fire up ?

hi folks unsure if anyone can help but will give it a try my wife drives 3litre auto elite yesterday on way home from work tc light cae on and also auto trans warning light and then car power steering went much to wifes shock she managed to avoid three cars and pulled over she said car making awful noise unsure of what sort of noise AA man was called he thought cambelt had slipped manged to drive 100yards to our house i have turned engine over tonight and it started very noisy as AA man has left off some air intake parts but i could hear slight ticking (valve hitting piston maybe ) AA man very keen to buy car off wife offered 200 pounds for it .. i was wondering if anyone knows of any other faults it could be ? thx paul p.s its a v6 model

just been out had a quick look boot lock playing up as well seems to be central locking very strange as central seems to be working if you lock and unlock doors a few times seems to be ok :-/

hi folks wifes just informed me both back doors wont open from outside .. been and checked and shes right why should this be 
central locking appears to work and interior handle opens them ,but just wont open from outside

well went and bought more central heating cleaner and stuck into matrix for couple hours washed it through a few times conected up again a wow warmer than before .. will try again at weekend as still think it should be warmer..

well i put some central heating cleaner in a couple of times this morning and left it for about an hour each time washed it through and yipeeee some heat not boiling but miles better than it was .. will do it again tomorrow thx guys

when i flushed through this afternoon water was going in one pipe and out the other and vica versa does that not mean its clear ? :-?

forgot to mention top hose going into matrix very hot bottom hose coming out very cold !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well i back on with same probs as a while back no heat from heater i flushed matrix through last time and got bit of warmth for day or so :)then back to no heat again so been out there again today and flushed through again reconnected resyncened heater by pushing auto button and off button at same time and still cold could it be the HBV have taken vacumm pipe off top off hbv there doesnt appear to be any sucking or blowing coming from end off it .. should there ? forgot to mention its an omega 3.0 elite finally should the digital heater numbers be visable in the dark ? bulbs gone ?

engine 3.0 not had car long ..guy i bought car off said he had cambelt and head gaskets done a couple of years ago he did only a few thousand a year in it .. im in tonbridge not in medway anymore but often over that way so might take you up on offer off second opinion

Omega General Help / mayo on filler neck

spent yesterday afternoon washing through heater matrix had car idling for long periods of time .today took car on short journey about 5 miles ..got out could smell a hint of burning oil had quick look under bonnet could/nt see any thing really ,opened up filler cap and there is the start of mayo being formed (was/nt there last week ) anything to worry about ? no oil in water but hell of alot of pressure in exspansion tank :'(head gasket ?
