Try these, I used to use them when I was in the trade. Good job and good price.

I would say if not the leak off pipes then look at replacing the top seal on the injectors as they will let in air to the system. only thing is you have to have the cam shaft out to do the job :'( :'( you could always park front down hill then the fuel will not run back to the tank (this is the way my brother stops it on his Elite, until i get time to do the seals) :y
No need to remove camshaft just slacken the caps off a bit. Remember to empty the cam followers before you pull down the cam after changing the seals.

Is the box far enough out to get too the pressure plate bolts, if so undo them and take the box and clutch out together.

Offside engine mount, well it was on mine. Look for the shiney metal on mount and cross member.

Rubber leak off pipe?

Looks like you may have a geometry issue if that tyre is only 2 months old. One shoulder looks far more worn than the other. :o

Omega General Help / Re: Cruise control

I fitted the cruise stalk and it worked all on it's own, result.

Depends on engine fitted, if 2.5 TD, then yes they generally work already.

Yep 2.5 TD

Been there done that, think you will find it's one or both engine mountings.Offside takes most hammer, they're VERY expencive for a piece of rubber with some oil in.

Nope, only when rad fans on.

Yet another reason to ditch the viscous  :-X

intercooler fan has habit of seizing.  Free it off, then connect it up to a car battery for an hour, that frees it up
Just seen this post.
Is it OK to remove the viscous fan?
I would like to dich it coz its very loud until it has gone through its gears (auto) :-?

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Re: Can't get radio to work
« on: 01 March 2010, 13:36:06 »
Thanks to all for your help.
The problem was that the amp in the car was not being powered up so I used the aeriel power up lead from the radio to power the amp and now all is good. Thanks again.

Thanks all.The original radio works OK so theory about speakers and not turning sound up are out .
The funny thing is regarding speakers is that I could not make them "click" with a battery when I was tracing the wires so it makes me think that there is something in the system that needs powering up but the new radio/cd is not doing this.  >:( :(
