Still getting over loosing a friend in a motorcycle accident.  I would have one but I just wouldn't put my wife through the worry.

Fair enough I suppose mate.I wouldnt have anything bigger than a runabout when my kids were young,it would have felt irresponsible for me,but they are grown up now so..........
Mrs Albs hates bikes, and it doesnt help that I have various bits of limbs and organs missing from my "learning curve" in my teenage years. ;D ;D

We'll see how the wounds heal.  With a 16 month old to look after, I'm in no hurry.

Tunnie, best quality leathers, best quality helmet and treat every other road user as though they are deranged!

no leathers for me, i have D-Dry gear, i find it very good. Got a Dianise jacket and some AlpineStars boots which are very comfy, D-Dry trousers as well, got a Shoei helmet.

Was going to go with an unknown brand but went for the shoei in the end, i wear Nike Pro underneath it all which keeps my body temp the same. Don't sweat like you do with a t-shirt.

yeah money spent on good quality helmet saves you no end of hassle as the cheap ones have crap fit and are noisy as hell even with earplugs in .As the advert from Bell helmets in the 70 's said " Buy a $10 dollar helmet for a $10 dollar head" you only get what you pay for ,Arai for me every time
