your not a lover of any form of contempary music, produced in the last 60 years ?..........it all either came from there or has been copied from what came from there. ;)

The Beatles were British, very original and kicked started a music revolution.

I would accept though that they were influenced by Buddy Holly and Elvis! ::) ::) ;)

They were very creative,imaginative etc. Lizzie like many other great British musicians of that era, but all rock/pop etc music originates from the U.S. Blues/gospel/country etc. are the roots from where it all stemmed. :y
If these types of American music hadnt been mixed up into what became known as rock & roll, there wouldnt have been any Beatles,or any of the other music which came after it.
