I did think the heads were a bit different but I was assuming they would be the same. Wrong again  ;D

Chain driven block for starters :)

honestly 140 hp to 180 from an athmospheric engine doesnt seem that easy..lots of mods to do and most critical being high degree cams and both inlets and exhaust modification must be done ... :-\

Are they 144 or 147 bhp standard?

Is this power RWHP or fly wheel? Most Euro manufactures give fly wheel figures when the sell cars. It bigs them up more.
US manufactures are the opposite & give RWHP.

I too am sceptical about how "generous" the RR is, but either way it's clear you're doing a lot of work and mods and you're enjoying it :y :y

Make sure you let us know the outcome ;)

Cheers guys.

Flywheel power. As said, the bigger number looks better. The 180.9BHP should be pretty bang on. That run was on a rolling road day organised by another forum where all the cars were running pretty much what was expected. I've sent the engine map file off again to have a little flat spot between 3 and 4 thousand revs sorted. Feels like the car backs off slightly but past 4k it's off like a rocket again. I'll load that back to the car later and see how that goes. Seems very very few people have mapped the Z22XE engine!
