The guy who does my car has a small four man independent business and he charges £52.50 per hour. That may sound steep to some, but, as i am now unable to roll around on the floor in the rain and mud and i also trust him implicitly, i think, for me, it,s worth the cost. Also he really knows his Omegas thankfully.

I use small independent. I keep costs down by supplying all parts myself.

Oil and filter change plus fuel filter change plus cleaning brake pipes came to 30 minutes labour. £20.

Look at it this way, 10-15yrs ago, you wouldn't have contemplated changing the oil on a pair of £25k omegas, but now, its not an issue. 

Apart from when I fell off the bike and hurt myself for a few weeks, I've always serviced mine, and I've had it 12yrs...

So just over £17 an oil change .

Whilst they are not doing the 4 for 3 offer anymore at £8=25 + vat for 5lts compared to retail of £25=87 getting a bit dirty does saved you a fair bit of cash
