i think i need to replace the beemers windscreen it looks very scratched... how many times a year can you claim on ya insurance for windscreens?

I claimed once but so far have had 4 screens with the fifth due apparantly.

Any way, another update.

Still no parts.

Despite being told on Tuesday that the trims were in but the screen was not, I have now been told that none of it is available!

Lied to again!

Anyway, they dont know when it will arrive and yet again its me chasing it!

Shite, shite, shite, shite, shite, shite, shite, shite, shite, shite, shite, shite, shite, shite, shite

I'm running out of masking tape!

Well, today they fitted a new genuine screen, trim, clips etc.

I pointed out to the guy the excess sealer on the internal trims, the fact that it was 5mm plus over to one side and that the plastic channels on the window edge were broken.

Anyway, job seems pretty good (best of the bunch so far!).

I asked him what his opinion of the original install was, he said 'pretty good' (shows how piss poor the average level is!), I told him I would hate to see a shite one!

And if Jimbob puts the kiss of death on this one I shall personally drive up there and drink all his whiskey.....eventually!  :y :y ;D ;D ;D ;D
