Funny... I've been a three customer for around 10 years and have always found them to be superb on the customer service front, especially if you can get through to customer resolutions who are UK based ;) :y

In fact, I've been speaking with them about the totally shocking idea of customer service from LG and they have agreed to replace my 16 month old handset if LG fail to fix the fault this time (2nd time they have had it!) :y

No problem speaking with UK based customer services, my experiances outside UK they wont listen, change what you saying because they dont understand, constantly talk over you and read from a script.  but I put that down to the fact they never accept that the problems I have had may have been caused by them. :-X  Apart from that they are ok ::)

Seems the smart idea is to wait for the S7 realease and benifit from the S6 price drop.

Had an offer from 3 of highlight]£29 monthly (24 Month contract) + Unlimited text/mins so happy to wait a few weeks on that, also whilst browsing I considered the 64GB phone rather than 32GB, they wanted an extra £9 a month. :-X  That was to upgrade from the "The one account" currently being sim only and on a booster with my wifi for £15 that ends this month (Compulsary as they wont keep it active any more)

Also managed to to get the phone working again, I thought it was a password issue but it seems a different battery sorted it, so I put the hammer and tool box away.  ::)

Also, after handing my phone to a teenager to look at my S4 is now working properly, we tested the sim in his phone and it msg'd some setting for access, so he twiddled with the settings on mine and all works well.

O2 upped my contrast from £16.21 (sim only) for 2GB unlimeted Text/calls to £21.76, after a few calls I now have a £15 12 Month contract (som only) 3GB Unlimited Text/mins and happy to keep S4 now its works ok.

At those prices I'd look at EE. £29 a month gets 3gb data, unlimited calls and texts,.

Best way to shop  a phone is decided on monthly amount then see which provider has best deal and handset,

Am going to get a PAYG EE sim to try, if connection and reception are good then its down to price, if they beat three on price they three are history, will just keep them till I move my number over. :y

Have a look at Virgin Media, their sim only seals are pretty good.

£15 for unlimited calls and texts and 4Gb data

I've now found out how to speak to the UK - although still have to start off with the foreigners and jump through the hoops ::)

Cheeky sods at O2 sent me a text with the details of the contract on but no price, and have just emailed that my renewed contradition that was agreed at £15PM for 12 months is £18  AAAAAGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH . . . . .

Plus after waiting for the realease of the Galaxy S7 I was onto three to check the deals

1GB + Unlimated on all quotes

S7  £99 up front + £35PM for 24Months
S7 Edge £99 + £41PM for 24 Months

S6 offer was £29PM, waived the £29 up front cost.(No change in the offer)

Then was offered an S6 Edge for £41PM and upfront cost waived.

I declined all the above on the basis that there was no discount offered for loyalty and said that I might as well leave when my sim only deal that I have ends on the 4th of March. To which I suddenly get offered a S6 Edge with a 2GB + Unlimited for £35PM, after a bit of deliberation and 40 mins on the phone I decided to go with the deal, all details checked and confirmed etc etc etc. . . . . Right Sir, what colour phone would you like.  "A Black One Please" . . . . Sorry Sir, we dont have any in stock....DOH!!!!!!   I gave in after a good rant and hung up. :-X

I has a couple of LG phones coincidentally on 3 and the handsets were awful. Totally unreliable and I'd never have one again.

I want a review by a real person, I know ;)

So after a week or two living with the OnePlus 2 I can say;

It's been a difficult adjustment from the iPhone in terms of "Where the hell is X?" or "How do I Y?" - fortunately the fella with the same phone is amenable to being my local Android tech support ;D he also took the piss about me installing Avast.. :-[

Now; the good and the bad:

Good - the size, I think, is perfect.  Ever so slightly smaller than the iPhone 6 Plus means I can actually reach all corners of the screen without hand gymnastics but it's still bigger than the iPhone 6 so maintains a nice amount of real estate.  The shape is comfortable in the hand and much nicer to hold than the iPhone - I don't feel like it's constantly trying to make a bid for freedom!

Good - dual SIM. I wish I'd done this ages ago. It's flawlessly implemented in Android and I think it's a great shame there aren't more dual SIM handsets, although I believe there is a dual SIM version of the Galaxy S6 out there somewhere.

Bad - there's no Marshmallow build yet so it's stuck no Lolipop for now, at least officially.  There are some complaints that the official firmware is a little bloated and I can certainly say it's occasionally less than snappy to start a new app or switch back to the launcher with a couple of seconds 'pause' that makes it feel much less polished than iOS.  This is my first Android handset, though, so maybe they all do that!

The situation improved markedly when I moved away from the default launcher and over to Nova Launcher.

Bad - it's hard-locked a couple of times in two weeks, which makes me really miss the robustness of iOS! The occasional app crashed there but almost never the OS.

Bad - there's no microSD slot, which is a shame.

Overall it's pretty good and half the price of a comparable 'flagship' with the bonus of dual SIM.  I suspect some of the other issues (like the occasional crash) might well be generic Android things, too.. like I say, it's my first Android phone so I am a noob there :)

If there was a dual SIM S6 or S7 I might even be tempted to trade up, now. Android really isn't all that bad..

I'll never have another one :o They've now admitted that they have lost my handset and returned someone else's device to me last time. Management finally signed off on a replacement yesterday, late afternoon, so I'm now awaiting a new replacement handset which might, if I'm lucky, be here by Friday! :o

The worst service ever and to top it all off there's also been a data breech because I have been getting address notifications for delivery of the device I was returned by mistake! Which, incidentally, they now seem to have lost as well! ::)

Thankfully I am able to upgrade later this year and escape the clutches of LG!! >:(

Thanks. The Dual SIM does appeal to me but I'm not sure about the rest :-\

I looked seriously at the S6. Couldn't see much appeal in the Edge version, to be honest, but ended up with the A5. A little smaller but, I found, much more comfortable for slipping into a pocket and all round a great phone. Cheaper, too, if you don't actually require the full spec. of the S6. Can't really fault it once the Samsung / Google bloat has been ditched. Pretty reasonable RF performance and great battery life, although one disadvantage is that the battery is not replaceable (I suspect I'll find a way when the time comes!).

The lockups have bugged me but Vlad is on holiday at the moment so I can't ask him if that's normal or maybe just something I've done.. for all I know Nova Launcher has bugs, and because I've strayed from the OnePlus path I'm probably on my own there!

The bigger problem is that now I'm using a phone that is open-system the temptation to tinker (after market ROMs, etc) is huge! ;D

If I could get a dual SIM S6, though, I'd seriously consider it.  Not the Edge, though, because I find it hard enough to hold a phone without touching the screen accidentally as it is! ;D

I haven't found any reason to move on from S4 yet.

I was forced to after leaving mine in a taxi in Lyon.

Got the S6 and it's great.  The fingerprint unlock, once set up correctly, is great and the extra processing power makes a difference.

Still rubbish compared to the iPhone 6s, and leagues behind the 6s+
Both are gay though, that's the problem.
Ah, so the fact I have a 6s...

Still, for a tenner a month for 200m/ultd text/3Gb on EE's bloody brilliant network, I don't feel like I'm being arse raped.
