Apparently the sick F__ck want his ashes thrown over the Moors
At best insensitive, but equally, not something that needed to ever be public knowledge. Ultimately such an act means more to those left behind than the general population, and then only if you believe in it.
Don't recall any uproar about where any other mass murderers are deposited.
Exactly.

I don't feel sad that we didn't execute this man. I feel that he got the best justice we could have served - to lose his freedom and to spend a long life and lingering death hopefully in contemplation over how he chose to lead his life.
What I do feel sad about, is that he has constantly been given the oxygen of publicity, both when he was "inside", goading the authorities and the family of Keith Bennett over the location of his remains, and now in death. It is this which has made it so difficult for the families of his victims to move on, I'm sure.

He should have been locked up and forgotten about with no access to or interest from the outside world.
