not just me, just read ANY review out there.

Its a handset designed to rival the iPhone and HTC, yet its got no WiFi?

Its slow, crash happy, its the usual thing americans build, looks nice, but horrible to use, lacks features, poor build.

Worst thing is that 'clickable' keyboard... give it 2 weeks it will fail..

My brother has had his since 2 days after they came out (november ish time I think) and he had no worries with it. Bloke in vodaphone told me it's on a par with the iPhone the only thing it is lacking is the wi-fi imo. The mrs has an iPhone so i know what they are like too. Haven't had a crash in the 2 days i've had it and my brother when I asled him what they were like with regards to crashing etc he said minimal.

Tunnie with the exception of no Wi-fi i couldn't disagree more...

I have had mine since before xmas, never crashed once.

Build quality is as good as my 8800 and Bold.

Having installed google maps and a few other apps i would say it has stacks of appeal....and the apps cost nothing...

Clicky keyboard is a bit of a digression from the normal soft touch, but if set up correctly then it works fine.

I had an Iphone for a few weeks and whilst i loved the theory behind it it was not executed in a good way, unlike the Storm.

I'm not saying its better than the iPhone, but certainly a more reliable and longer lasting alternative.

Well, the bloke in Vodafone would hardly recommend a phone they can't supply you ;)

Personally, very disappointed with Storm - Voda flogged my brother one as the best thing to get Exchange based email.  Shows what useless dickheads the sales people are, I suspect they get high commission on the Blackberry.

Thats what matters.  Just be aware it does seem to suffer from instability, and that it has a reputation for being delicate...

or possibly piss poor training that has lead to misunderstanding......

we work in this environment and can differentiate between BES, BIS, POP, IMAP, Exchange etc, i doubt the guy selling the phone knows half the features.

I'm not sticking up for him, just highlighting that half the time they just about know how to work their own phone let alone one they are trying to flog.

Voda told me the Storm couldn't be unlocked.....i bought mine in a charity auction, 2 days later its on Orange  :y and Orange supplied me with the code ;D ;D

Each to their own.  I was offered the Samsung Tocco by Vodafone but I could not get on with it where as, despite the limitations, my iphone is easily the best phone I've had along with a Nokia 7110.

I've tried a Blackberry Storm and I didn't much like it but then I know plenty of people who hate my phone
