I've a load of "Tiger & Jag" comics from the 1960s in my soon-to-be-converted loft.

They feature Roy of the (Melchester) Rovers. A hero when I was young.

Are they worth anything?  ::)

Since 1988, I have been self-employed. I mainly do graphic design and typesetting, but I have also done writing and editing.

I work from home..and love it.  :y

I have been in IT for many years, working for:
Software houses
Mirlees Blackstone
Salford Council
PwC
IBM
and now at the Co-operative working in IS.

I enjoy my job in general, but like all jobs it has its frustrations.

Now keeping the lights in the South East of England.
Worked in the Electrical industry now for the past 20 years.  Used to keep the juice flowing on the underground until I found out that I was undervalued and underpaid so moved on to a new company and found out the same yet again.  Still at the moment I'm fortunate enough to be employed.

nice, any early Roy of the Rovers is worth something - don't throw them out Nickbat someone somewhere will buy them if they're in good condition - not necessarily mint but complete and readable, you could punt them on ebay, the money's in the first couple of years tho ie mid to late fifties, Tiger annuals are worth money too if you have any but we're not talking crazy prices, still a couple of quid for something that cost a couple of pennies ain't too bad  :y
