Did the other spring today and also freed off and cleaned all 4 brakes on a VW Passat :y :y :y

really cant understand why you lot worry about the MOT test, surely we are all enthusiasts and try to keep the cars in top mechanical condition? personallyi like to know my car will take me anywhere i want to go without any issues :yI just go through the car the week before with my own Mot pretest do anything i think it may fail on and chuck it in!!!
havent had a failure since 1995 when the hanbrake cable snapped on the brake test, took car home got a cable replaced it and had the car retested the same afternoon and got me ticket,
so why the worry???

I normally do mine but couldn't be bothered with all the bad weather this year ::) ::)

I've had it fail on the handbrake a couple of times now, so always wary....

thats a typical auto trait!! use it or lose it is the key!!! :y good luck matey  ;D
