......
The trouble is Andy the car is in the garage, hard up against the rear wall in "Park", with the boot lid unable to rise high enough for anyone but a child to crawl through!!    The word I have used frequently today is.......bugger!!!! >:( >:( >:( ;)

Bugger!!!  :(

What about ....... a couple of trolly jacks under the rear of the sills to lift the rear wheels of the floor and wheel the whole lot forward a foot or two?  :-/ :-/

See! That's what happens when you use your garage for putting your car in ..... most of the rest of us use them for storing sh1te in!  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D :y :y

Great idea thanks Andy, but just one problem.............my one and only trolley jack is in the boot where I always keep it............bugger,bugger,bugger!!!!!!  ::) ::) ::) ::) ::);D ;D

Thanks, that's not a bad idea TB! :-* :-* :-* ;)

What I am going to do though in the first instance is take full advantage of my all singing and dancing, including 'home start' AA membership!!!   I'll give them a problem for a change, as a poor defenceless woman; you see I do have that advantage!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

If that fails, it will be down to me to do as you suggest!! ;) ;)

Lizzie - you're not trying - can't you borrow a small child and ram 'em in the boot?

Well, after panicking that all three aerosol cans of WD40 are either in the boot, or stored against the garage wall that I cannot get to due to the car being there........bugger!..bugger!..bugger!!.....I remembers I had a can in the side pocket of the boot that I could just get to. ;D :y :y

So now the lock has been soaked with three minutes worth of WD40 spray! :D ;) ;)

I am hoping come the morning that will free it! ::) ::)

Thanks again for that idea Chris. :y :y :y
