You think there might be wate in the lock and hence why you have used Water Dispersant?

Lubricant would have been better!

No Mark I didn't think there was water in the lock, just that it is stiff from not being used at all. ;)  

I use WD40 for "unfreezing" everything, and it normally works!! ;D ;D ;)   Is that wrong? :-? :-?

It depends how stiff it is...you might need something a little more fluid. Its not unknown for Saliva to do the job

Well....when you have a problem such as this then 'universal lubricant' is often very good.

Its important to apply it and then work it well to get it well penetrated into the internals
