As Hotel21 says, no intention of removing old accounts.

Some people like to come on here and chat about Omegas and everything else. Some like to lurk, looking for info, and find what they want without have to ask.

I am one of the earliest members on here and yet my post count is quite miserable compared to other people who joined at the same time.  Then again, others who joined at the same time have fewer posts than me.

What we all have to remember is that old arch enemy - time.  Most of my posting is done at work :o as I do not have a great deal of time out of work.

Using myself as an example, people tend to post when they have time  and / or an interest in a particular thread or have a question or need assistance with a particular issue.

I do enjoy reading the various topics and the banter in general chat, but rarely join in as I am not good at cracking jokes etc.

I tend to lurk in the general help section, but generally people have already beat me to it when it comes to answering!  This is indicative of the quality of this forum.

I too have noticed how many Inactive members we have, but does it hurt?
Why even think of deleting members that have not been active for a while?
As STMO123 has already said, the General chat site has got nothing to do with the reason the Forum is here, its just an area where people like me talk a load of rubbish, and have a laugh.
Although this is part of it, the main thing is to help each other with our Omegas.
If a member decides to sit back and just read then thats their choice.

The only resource inactive members are taking up is a little disk space (we have plenty) and, on the very rare occasions we sent out broadcast emails, a little bandwidth occasionally.

A long time ago someone gave what seemed like good advice; if you have nothing to say, say nothing.

I have probably just gone against that advice, but never mind.

TB has hit the naill on the head In my case, and a lot of other ppl presumably,I kinda lurk and read the forum.I've found it immensly helpful in doing repairs, servicing to my my miggy ie breather pipes clean, fuel filter change and rear brakes servicing.

All in all it is an excellent forum for miggy owners.
The admins deserve a resounding cheer for the way they organised and run this.

:-[Erm....Another case of leaping before i look. I've read all replies & having done so learned  the lesson that we don't all have to be as vocal, takes all sorts etc. Can see now that members we don't hear much from gain knowledge to help keep their Migs running sweetly & cheaply as is the Forums purpose.
I only open my mouth to change feet but will hold my hands up when i'm wrong. I would promise never to do it again but...... ::)
