Loo-knee - thats precisely why I replace the banjo bolts in the coolant bridge and oil cooler
Yes, that connector is crank sensor.
Where does it clip to Jaime, the engine lift bracket at the back of the engine?
Yes, but I bet its bust, if so, just tuck it down there somewhere...
Its not bust yet
I have been told that when I buy a new Cam Sensor which look a pain in the arse to route, it will be a different connector?
No, you buy the correct crank sensor with the right connector!
So you don't need to do anything then cool, so is there a few different types then? What sort am I after then? :-?
2 types for v6.
Look at sensor end (by oil filter). If metal, you need expsensive type with square connector (£60 + VAT). If plastic, cheaper type with oval connector, £35 + VAT. That looks like oval type from piccy, but double check oil filter end.
But then, you knew all that, as being a V6 owner, you always carry a spare crank sensor.....
