*cough*
As part of the negotiation with any insurance co, phone the sales lines, and don't take out the policy unless they agree to give full (5yr) NCD on the 2nd policy. Then next year, you are free to move anywhere, as you have the NCD proof
For those thinking your entitlement to NCD is purely on yourself individually, its actually individually per vehicle. So I have seperate NCD for all 3 of mine - 20+ yrs for the Elite, 9+ for the MV6 and 12+ for the Kawasaki. I switched the NCDs over on the 2 Omegas this year, as it worked out cheaper, as the premium for the Elite had risen significantly.
Sadly, that's what I assumed the bloke meant when he said "We'll mirror your NCD for you".. but, one year on, it evidently was not

Now I'm 2/3rds of the way through accruing 'max' NCB anyway, I may as well continue..
Having said that, Flux's customer care so far has been pretty good - NCD aside - when I called with the price I'd had from Admiral they couldn't get near it (£120 more) but said they'd check around and call back. I didn't expect a call back at all, but I got one, and one matching the Admiral price, too.
Still tempted to go with Admiral, but I have that twinge of "better the devil you know"...
P.S. LD, did you miss a decimal place out in there?
