Well Cem.. I'm 64 and have watched a few world cup tournaments, does that mean I know what I'm talking about ?
But I must agree with you about it always being South American countries winning, as we can see from this :
< The 19 World Cup tournaments have been won by eight different national teams. Brazil have won five times, and they are the only team to have played in every tournament. The other World Cup winners are Italy, with four titles; Germany, with three titles; Argentina and inaugural winners Uruguay, with two titles each; and England, France, and Spain, with one title each.>
Errrmmm doesn't that put Italy in second place..  :y There you go my old Doner..  :y

lets say if football organizations change a simple rule and limit the number of defence players in your field (or some other rule) which I do believe to be definitely necessary , italy wont have any chance.. honestly speaking I dont enjoy to watch their game, its football not chess .. and besides you may be successful in defence , but what happens if most teams try your tactics..  and even a weak team can get good results with 11 man defence..  ;D

sorry but I'm not a fan of italian football style.. :y

Totally agree Cem concerning defensive playing. As far as I'm concerned it helped to lose England the match. They tried to play Italy at its own game, while Italy were prepared to move forward. So very many times during that game, I couldn't help but notice that as soon as Italy got the ball a yard into the English half, There were at least 6 white shirts in the penalty box ?? Yes I'm an Italian, but for me John Terry was just about the best player in that match.

Power is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how much of the wall you take with you.

I am going on holiday soon to Mallorca or Majorca if you prefer. I am going to Paguera, it is full of Germans. I go ther because it is full of Germans. Why, because they know how to behave. There is no drunks no fights no problems. Just up the road is Magaluf. It is full of British people, getting drunk, fighting etc.

I want a holiday not trouble.
well said :y

The germans can't fight anyway, they just stand there and try to slap you   :P :-X :-X
you dont know many then :-X

Now don't you go all serious on me now  ;D ;D ;D

I spent 3 years out in sausage land and loved every minute of it  :y
Been back out there 3 times in the last 20 years.
Last time with my family  :)
sorry mate just had to much of anti german remarks

Yeah, the old cliches do get a tad boring, don't they?  ;) Especially whilst living in Germany and getting a view on how they feel about things in history. Which I believe would be quite suprisng to most.

Would you elaborate on that a bit mate? I'm genuinely interested
yes me too

I will, sure, but not now. Just got in from work. And I'll post under a separate thread.

Yes I too would be interested in the German man in the street view. One aspect I would be interested in is areas like repaying war debts and how the two economies were helped by "aid" after the war?  Britain for example only just finished paying back their 50 year loan to the Americans.

For what it is worth the average man in the Spanish street has zero understanding of the huge financial, social and economic impacts that WW2 had on the participating countries. I find that truly staggering but then if you ask the "ordinary man in the street" in Britain about the impact of the Spanish Civil War most wouldn't have a clue.
