Left school at 16, always wanted to be a lorry driver from a young age, but not possible till i reached the ripe old age of 21 so spent my first 6 months of employment sewing gussets in womens knickers (125 dozen a day !!!) on a YTS scheme, the moved factories and was a sewing machinits making 3 piece suites.
Once 17 and passed my driving test became a white van(wo)man delivering parcels for Federal Express.
At 18 was old enough to drive a 7.5ton truck and got a job delivering nuts ,bolts and other fasteners nationwide for a local company.
It was my 21st birthday on a saturday and had my HGV1 course booked for the following monday, passed my test the following friday

following monday started work as a propper truck driver, did that for 17 years,did every job there was is the haulage indusry including 3 years covering europe.
Then spent 18 months working as a debt collector for a major banking group (london scottish finance)
Now a stay at home mum looking after my kids and husband.
