..... so we supposedly hate americans. we can't stand their naizely accents. or the fact they think nowhere else exists other  than the states. or how their retired folk dress when they do realise there are other countries and go on holiday. or their government. or their size. their self-righteousness. or their materialism and certainly their 'american dream' as it's the most ironic thing in the world (world including 'the rest of it' besides redwing drive, little rock, arkansas)

i got speaking to someone at a works do who is insistent he hates everything (like the list above) about america....

hmmmmmm this to me is odd. i love america. my girlfriend is american. and i love mcdonalds.

in my mind we are american. your pop tarts in the morning are an american invention. your ford focus. your dell computer with windows. your nike trainers. your phone. your budweiser.

although we dont have the accent. we are american. and i love it.

ps. my jeremy clarkson style dicussion is over. feel free to tell me we're not americann at all and we'd sooner sit in a manky 'pub' drinking boddingtons than ever play '9-ball'

 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Phone is Finnish, breakfast British, car German/UK/French from US company. computer mainly Taiwanese & Korean, drink British or Czech.

Footwear appears to be Chinese, games are from all around the world incluing Japan, Germany, UK, US, Canada.

BTW my favourite US games developer has staff from all around the world.

We should never have let them have independence. Do you know that the cathedral in malaga is unfinished because the bishop of the day sent the funds to fight the war agin the British?

If they were still a colony they would talk proper and spell properly. They would also be more worldly and know that Africa was a continent as opposed to a country.

I have trouble naming one good thing that came out of the USA.

Nah! Everyone knows that the building of the cathedral was sub-contracted to the same chaps who have been working on Albs' kitchen. That's the real reason.  ;) ;D  ;D

Having known Americans most of my life, visited their country, lived with Americans on a number of acassions, and loved everything about the United States of America along with their culture, no one can say anything against them whilst I am around! ;) ;)

For me my life, and the future, would be a lot sadder without the US of A, and certainly I believe our very existence (well mine and my children anyway!) would be in grave doubt without them since 1940, to date :y :y :y

I would also prefer to see the UK as an American State than us become just another State of Europe! :P :P

Even if it did take them a while to get here.  ::)

But before that they did help a lot behind the scenes in providing ships, planes, armaments, and general supplies, although that did cost us too much with lend lease! ::) ::) ;) ;)

7 American pilots even flew for us during the Battle of Britain, bless them 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

Yep, and they then believed they won it! ::) ::) ::) :P

Then their President, Woodrow Wilson, took it upon himself to organise the European powers, minus Germany, into the League of Nations that produced the infamous Versailles Treaty in 1919, which guaranteed World War II would take place! ::) ::) ::)

God bless, they were at the start of their American Century, and only trying to help! :D :D ;)

This is what pisses me off about yanks:

Entry from online dictionary:

par·a·lyse (pr-lz)
v. Chiefly British
Variant of paralyze.

Paralyse is not a rather variant of paralyze. It's the other way round you dicks. Get your own language instead of bastardising ours.
