About 5 hours of arms dipped in a cold bath. Starving hungry but couldnt take them out long enough to eat my dinner
Eventually fired up the catering sized ice cube maker and ate dinner with bags of ice cubes tied to the arms.
It how I roll. I broke my jaw just walking from the bedroom to the toilet about 10 years ago. ::) ;D ;D

I did leave the cap on by mistake this evening and got a arm full when I opened the valve. Luckily had been cutting the grass so just a early warm shower. ::)

How did you manage that?
Was going to remove fan switch from n/s of rad on my previous omega. Had  just driven about 15 miles, but decided to find the correct size spanner, then decided to just slacken it off a bit so it would be easy to wind it out when the engine had cooled.
Put spanner on and tugged. It slipped off and caught the plastic inlet directly underneath it, and snapped it clean off.
The coolant then spurted out over me. Just missed my face, but couldnt get out of the way quick enough.
Ran indoors and straight up to the bathroom and could hear wife/son saying "whats he done now?". ::) ;D

Started her up after 9 days of not using her and she worked first time  :o so I took her for a little ride up and down the dual carriageway for about half an hour.

New tailgate window regulator into the Freelander, another set of droplinks fitted to it too.
Replaced the passenger front door split roll pins on the Omega and turned my attention to the rear donuts...... :'(
Oh what a job , I prised, pulled levered and after over two hours the ns one has only moved 1/2 inch .
I've used prise bars ,claw hammers, chisels cut a slot using an angle grinder and the rather' thing still refuses to come out.
I'm bruised ,grazed and cut so I've left it tonight and will return to it tomorrow . >:(

New rear discs and pads on Jane's Estate. Quick brush of grease over the brake lines to protect them for a bit longer.

Even washed it for her as well!  :y
