More washing polishing and waxing. Still doors and 3 corners to do though...

Last Saturday morning, I watched The Master change the bushes on the front of my Elite. A decent improvement, though the old ones were pretty shot.

Soldered the red wire and fitted the omega cruise control stalk. Works a treat.

Measured and made two guide holes in the front bumper for headlight washers.
Met a fellow OOFer (ChrisH) who was a very civilised and friendly chap (just like me.... ::) ;D) had a chat and a cup of tea with him and had a look around his nice 3.0 f/l elite. Then helped him fit a rear bumper inside the cabin of his car - I had serious doubts that it would fit. Touched up a few stonechips on the replacement tank for my bike. Posted off a prodrive spoiler, and thats about it really. Not a very busy day. :)

Finished those bloody rear donuts . >:(
What an 'effin job that was they fought every mm of the way . Tested it and the back end certainly feels better but the really annoying creaking sound is still there ..... I'll have to look further .
Had a load of parts delivered from Elite Pete (  :y ) so unpacked and started to fit them this evening .
Back to real work to morrow .

Carefully (ie. don't get any onto the disc!) spray some plusgas / penetrating oil onto the handbrake return springs clipped onto the inner disc shield.

Fixed the creaking on my DTi  :y

new shockers and springs arrived in the post for the rear along with the laser v6 engine timing set i ordered in anticipation of this weekends cambelt change :D just hope the weather is set fair.........loving my omega ownership so far and slowly getting her back to a good standard.
