Brake pads, oil and sensors came today. Hoping for good weather over the weekend to sort out the brakes on the black beastie. Handbrake needs adjusting as well.

Collected bits for XE flywheel conversion, billet spacer arrived today, fished out XE flywheel from back of shed, ordered a v6 vectra clutch.

Also just bought a 2.2 diesel gearbox (for a bargainous £45) because my wallet likes the taller 5th gear  ;D and a spare 4.22 diff

The Silver Bullet has had some rear springs, provided by Hotel21 last year  :-[, new shocks, bought in Feb/March, and new rear diff to subframe bushes, provided by Marks DTM last weekend.

Transformed the back end - recently its felt like it had a puncture around corners. Although, I think its highlighted that maybe the front is due some tinkering. Its never ending, isn't it ;D

Flushed through brake fluid.
New pads on the front.
Handbrake adjustment tomorrow.

Hopefully will make the brakes a little more responsive once the pads have bed in.

Fitted 12v socket where TM button would be to power Mr. Garmin rather than have the cable hanging down centre console. :)

The Freelander developed a rasp from what seemed to be the rear box so after examining it diagnosed the fault as the baffles had come loose inside. Got a new one from Eternal car and fitted it today .
Bloody rasp on overrun is still there so it looks like the fault lies further up the system and it's resonating down to the rear box >:(
I'll look at it later as we had a dry day for the first time in , eh years I think , so I had to combine the lawns.
