there are 3 types listed in EPC, each superceeding the last, so guess its make the current style fit  ;D
That would lead me to think that the are the same connector, or they supply a new connector, so no problem to join.

I could understand pre mini facelifts having different connectors, except:

1) No MV6s then
2) No side airbags

Thats not really helping, is it ;D

I am led to beleive there are different connector types too
I am sure that is not a massive issue for a knowledgable person such as yourself?

Guess that as you say it normally reads 2ohms, then 2 ohms ;D

Enough people getting rid of cloth seats, somebody must have a spare airbag (which would be better option)

Must use Vauxhall gaskets, not pattern, else they will fail quickly.

Plastic cam covers don't warp unless the mechanic is an idiot.

Clean breather system and throttle body, else they will fail again.

Omega General Help / Re: Transmission Transplant Possible?

It's not a flywheel though (as in a device to keep the engine running smoothly), its just a starter ring and something to bolt the torque converter to.  I think.  I will submit to your superior knowledge though  :-[

You'll need the torque converter (and I think the flywheel) off the donor too.
I thought they were the same on the v6 ones?

Automatics don't have a flywheel, do they?

the 3 litre automatic gearbox is stronger than the 2.5 one, but otherwise identical, and can be used in place of the 2.5 one.

If you want more boy racer noise (induction noise) drill some holes in the bottom of the air box
Wouldn't that feed the engine with warm air (performance killer)?

The car has only done 5000 miles or so since its last full service
I thought these needed servicing every 3000 miles or something riduculous like that?

I had similar when I changed the battery in remote blipper, turned out that a little chip fell out that is only glued in to key. one of the lights on the dash flashed which is how I found the actual fault

I had a similar problem with my 2.5v6 cd a while back and it was thermostat. I tried fixing myself, but its is buried right in the guts of engine so I had to get someone else to do it for me.
