Oh, and noticed the cam cover gaskets are getting a bit more desperate. :-X

Which, on further investigation, is due to half of the cam cover bolts having worked loose.
Very common ime. On all 4 I,ve owned and several others I,ve worked on.

Mine are also weeping slightly around the bolts - must remember to get the little torque wrench out tomorrow.

I've done nothing today to the Black Beastie - but the thingy in his Land Rover in front of me in the Mackie’s drive through queue thought it would be good to reverse straight back into the front of mine.
 >:(
Can see a new front grill replaced soon.

On a brighter note - though quieter level, ordered the new exhaust - so will hopefully be getting that fitted soon.
Oh cocking hell. Why was the prat reversing? Was he that stupid (or did he come from Milton Keynes :P).

Which exhaust you gone for, given eternal and double backboxes are not 2 words you can currently use in same sentence?

Been playing with Gayboy's uphill gardening gayPod thingie.  Think I've found the cause of the fault, but so far only 2 of the subsequent issues.

Will leave for a day or so, as I'm getting weary-eyed with it currently.

Exhuast coming from eternalcar - they dont have the back twin box on there site, but you can order it directly, so they have put the package together.
Should be here tomorrow.
Want to get the exhaust on before the end of the month as I'm going down to Cardiff.
Reversing man is from Northampton and has agreed to pay for the damage that I had a estimate done for. Money that will be used for the doors and arches and will try and sort the front out myself.

Thanks TB  :)  sounds promising.

Today I mostly washed it, polished a couple more panels, and washed it again. Then the sun came out again and a couldnt keep up with the drying. Chasing water marks around the car.

Never mind, it's far far cleaner than it was. yuk!

Unloaded most of the stuff I brought back from the weekend as I couldn't be bothered when we got home at just after 1 this morning... Was a very good run home though :-X ::) ;D

Left a few bits in there as I don't see a lot of point taking them out to put them back in again ::) ::)

Today I unloaded it, having got back at 3 am. On a recovery truck....

Because yesterday I parked it in the back of a stationary rigid in a queue on the M6. Was at less than 10 mph, no jolt, no airbags. Just the gentle crunching sound of the bonnet being peeled back through the headlights, radiators and slam panel.

In the battle between the My Omega and a DAF CF 26t rigid, the DAF lost its number plate light. A hollow victory though, as the DAF went on to win the war. :'(

:-[It was bad enough to be such a tw4t to do it in the first place, but the had to arrange recovery myself in order to get home rather than be dumped at Preston station. >:(

Endless hours of insurance crap to endure now. They will only take the car to repair it as I won't let them take it away for assessment. Already trying to stitch me up with a poxyshytboxfiesta courtesy car >:(
